A plain golf cart is only legal on golf courses and designated 30 mph-or-less roads. A Low Speed Vehicle (LSV), what we sell, is federally certified: windshield, VIN, lights, seat belts, mirrors, and 21-25 mph top speed. LSVs drive on any road posted 35 mph or less.
Scenic Gulf Drive, most residential streets, and designated crossings are all LSV-legal. US-98 itself is off-limits. Beach driving is prohibited in Okaloosa and Walton County.
You need a valid driver license to operate an LSV. Registration with the state and insurance are required for LSVs (not plain carts). We handle paperwork guidance at purchase.
